Venezuela; Armed clashes with ex-FARC guerrillas

The Colombian Military Forces deployed on the border with Venezuela are in first-degree alert after the fighting between the FARC-EP dissidents, more precisely the Décimo Martín Villa Front, and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces of Venezuela (Fanbv), between last March 19 and 21.

The fighting took place in the rural area of ​​La Victoria, in the La Capilla sector, as well as in the areas of El Ripal and Guafitas, on the border with the municipality of Arauquita -Colombia- to where the civilian population has moved fleeing the confrontations .
